How much do you love?

Happy (early) Valentines Day! Another busy day in our home.... school, playtime, lunch and but of course making Valentines cookies! The kids were soo excited today.. they received a package in the mail! Valentines cards, heart socks, heart hair clips and some candies. I know I know Valentine's Day is just a day that day the marketing people love to puff up. But you know what? It's always nice to hear that someone thinks the world you! That you impact their lives. That you are loved and cared for. And why not do it on Valentine's Day too!

There are two passages from the bible that we like to look read and remind ourselves of on this 'holiday' called Valentine's Day..

'Love your neighbour as yourself' Mark 12:31

And the second food for thought... is how great God's love is for us. The ultimate lover of the human race. If you don't know God... believe me HE IS GOOD! Take a moment and read, meditate and really think about this passage:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16

Now that is LOVE!
