To wrap up our study of "The Pond" we planned a family trip to the Toronto Zoo (www.torontozoo.com)

It was a beautiful fall, cool day!  Perfect for experiencing all the animals.. the animals were outside and very interactive.

The kids had a lot of fun.. they were just amazed at the size and beauty of them.  A very fun day was had by all, and we ended out the day with a special dinner out with the family.

"The Pond"...continues...

I'm a bit behind in the posting.... life just gets busy.. and sometimes photos do not load as quick as I would like them to.. bu there we go:

I just wanted to share a super easy and fun craft the children did while studying our theme this month "The Pond"





As you can see the kids made butterflies and frogs on lilliepads ☺  The body are made of painted egg cartons.  The lilly pads and wings were made out of foam.  Super easy.  Super cute.  Super fun!
